I'm Camille Markoff,
I'm Natalie Sherman,
For the past year, I have thrown myself into working at Markoff's Haunted Forest and Christmas at Calleva Farm. The skills and managerial experience I have gained are invaluable. I possess a keen attention to detail, and my strong work ethic has become my greatest asset. I have contributed to designing, decorating, and executing stunning sets while shadowing some of the most talented professionals in the holiday attraction industry.
In between these roles, I have taken breaks to organize events with Natalie and my family over the years, including bridal and baby showers, high tea parties, and a few weddings. What sets our approach apart is the unique feeling that comes from doing it ourselves. The passion and collective effort from each member of my family create an atmosphere like no other. This distinctive element is something I am eager to emphasize in the event industry.
I am currently stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina with my husband. I draw from a unique upbringing in a family where DIY was more than a pastime—it was a way of life. Whether it was a Sunday dinner or a grand celebration, I learned early on the art of crafting special and beautiful moments. My journey took a unique turn when, driven by a desire to serve my country and push my limits, I decided to attend the Naval Academy and commissioned as a Logistics Officer in the United States Marine Corps.
In addition to my military background, where I am developing exceptional skills in planning, coordination, and thriving under pressure, planning my own wedding became a transformative experience. It showcased the power of collaboration with family members and deepened my passion for event design. This pivotal moment solidified my commitment to this journey. My intent is to combine my expertise with a creative vision to ensure every event we manage is truly unforgettable.
